Gresham, Oregon police are searching for a missing woman from Alabama.

Patricia Rayford, 57, was heard from around 1 a. m. on Friday while visiting her niece's house in Gresham, police said. Rayford doesn't have any known medical conditions.

Police describe her as a 5'4" black woman weighing 275 pounds. Friends and family aren't sure what she was wearing when she disappeared, but they say she knows how to use the MAX and Tri-met bus system.

Family members say this is unusual behavior for Rayford, who is supposed to return to Alabama on Friday.

Police have not released a photo of her, but if know and have seen her, you're asked to call Gresham police at 503-618-3104.

VILLAGE OF SUMMIT (WITI) – A Dane County woman, missing for more than a day, was found in Waukesha County, after crashing her car into a vacant home in the Village of Summit.

Summit Police say the 80-year-old woman, who officials say suffers from a medical condition, crashed her car through a fence and into a home early Thursday morning, February 20th.

The woman was reported as an endangered missing person from Oregon, Wisconsin about 36 hours before the crash.

It is unclear what caused the woman to lose control of her vehicle.

It appears she was traveling eastbound. FOX6 News observed a broken fence, and pieces of the vehicle still at the scene on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the woman appeared confused after the crash. She was treated and released from the hospital after suffering minor injuries from the accident.

Summit police say they do not plan on citing the woman for the crash, however, it is recommending her driving privileges be reviewed by the Department of Transportation.

Oregon woman missing in New York City

NEW YORK - A 23-year-old Oregon woman who has been teaching in New York City has gone missing just days before classes begin.

Family and friends of Hannah Upp are trying to determine the whereabouts of the woman, who friends say is from Portland.

Police say Upp was last seen about 2:30 p. m. Friday as she left her apartment in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood.

Portland friend Ann Huntwork says the thought that Upp would "walk off" right before school started doesn't sound like something she would do. She says it "doesn't sound like she left of her own free will."

Upp's roommates found the Bryn Mawr graduate's keys, phone, ATM card, MetroCard, wallet and passport in her room. Upp was teaching at the Thurgood Marshall Academy.
