Woman River Camp is remotely located on the peaceful shores of Little Bear Lake. Part of the incredible Woman River Chain of Lakes. Drive into camp and enjoy the isolation of a fly-in lake. Surrounded by pristine wilderness and the rugged Canadian Shield. Woman River Camp is the place for the guys, girls, families or groups to enjoy Northwestern Ontario Canada's great outdoors.
The Woman River Chain of Lakes consists of 11 lakes all connected by the river, covering over 40 miles of water. The lakes & river are easy to navigate, safe to travel and never too rough. Current, dropoffs, rock points, weed beds, mud flats, you name the structure, Woman River has it. Great fishing throughout the 4 seasons of the year. Our guests enjoy fishing for the large variety of fish species Woman River has to offer. Woman River is the ideal fishing hole for everyone!
Our modern housekeeping cottages are clean comfortable and spacious. They are fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable vacation.
For those of you who don't "eat, sleep, fish", we have plenty of activites in camp and the surrounding area.
Woman River Camp offers Black Bear, Timber Wolf, Moose, Bird, and Small Game Hunts. As well as Wildlife viewing and Photography.

Our unique multi-species fishery offers outstanding fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and Lake Trout. Terrific numbers of eater fish and an excellent chance for that trophy of a lifetime!

A great destination for a group of guys, husband & wife, or bring the family. Woman River Camp offers 9 modern light housekeeping cottages nestled amongst the trees and along the water’s edge. Spacious and beautifully decorated in knotty pine, our cabins sleep 4-12 guests with our newest built in 2008. Kitchens are completely equipped with gas stoves, electric fridges and all necessities for you to prepare meals. Along with an outdoor propane cooker for frying up your favourite dish! Bedrooms are furnished with single beds along with plenty of hooks and shelving to store your belongings.
Enjoy the privacy of your own three piece bathroom with flush toilets and hot showers! To save you space, fuel, and the hassle of packing, we provide; pillows, linens, wool blankets, comforters, bath towels, face cloths, dish cloths, dish soap, and of course TP. Cozy up near the wood burning fireplace, or sit out on the deck and relax! Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a great holiday.
Complimentary ice, tether ball, basketball, horseshoes, swimming, canoeing, WIFI…..along with our weekly camp cookout for all to enjoy! Woman River Camp is more than just fishing!

Driving Directions
Directions to Ear Falls Ontario Fishing and Woman River Camp
Driving To Ear Falls, ON, From International Falls, MN.
Woman River Camp is located less than 4 1/2 hours from International Falls, Minnesota. Click on the Google Map above and enter your address for driving directions. Or
Head east out of Fort Frances on Hwy 11(approx. 30Km). Turn left onto Hwy 502 (to Dryden about 160 Km). Turn right on Hwy 594 (4Km). Then left on Gordon Rd. and go until the lights. Turn left onto Hwy 17 to Vermillion Bay (40Km). Then right turn onto Hwy 105 north to Ear Falls.
From Ear Falls, follow the Woman River Camp signs. Turn right on Hwy 657 (Goldpines Rd.) travel 3Km (2mi) and turn left onto Wenasaga Rd. (only left turn).Travel 1Km (3/4 mi) and turn left onto South Bay Road. Travel northeast for 49 Km (30mi), past Joyce Rd. and turn left to Woman River Camp.
Notes – yellow number signs along South Bay Rd. are kilometer markers. Stop at kilometer 31 on South Bay Rd. and enjoy a short nature trail to Big Falls (take your camera).
Remember 55mph = 90KM/h. Radar detectors are illegal in Ontario.
