There are plenty of people out there that wish they could just walk into their job, tell the boss where to go and just walk out. It’s quite a different story to actually do it. Check out how this KTVA reporter went out with a bang. Charlo Greene was wrapping up a story about the Alaskan Cannabis Club. Greene admitted that she was not only a member but the owner as well.

You may think that would be a conflict of interest, having her report on a story of a club that she is the owner of. Normally, that would be true. But in Green’s case, she decided to avoid that by quitting on the air.

Greene didn’t just quit though, she went out in style. Greene’s final words were ‘F**K it, I quit!” Then Green just walked off set, leaving the other anchor to scramble and apologize.

Check out the epic moment for yourself below.

Anchor Woman Quits On Air (Video)

Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing here in the USA, but We’re quick to judge people when we don’t know the whole story.

Well if I’m on the anchor part of a news team, I think I’m going to do my research and that’s exactly what anchor Liz Wahl did… (at least we hope she did her research)

Despite being an American working for ‘Russia Today’, or RT as it’s known, she feels the Russian invasion of the Ukraine is wrong. So bad that she expressed her feelings live on their news broadcast and then quit at the end.

Alaskan TV reporter curses, quits on-air to focus on pot (VIDEO)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Viewers of the KTVA-TV 10:00pm news on Sunday got quite a surprise when reporter Charlo Greene not only outed herself as the owner of a medical marijuana business, but also promptly quit on the air.

Greene did a story on the Alaska Cannabis Club, without revealing her connection to it. Afterwards, she announced that she was the club’s owner and was quitting her job at the station.

“Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska,” she said. “And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, (expletive) it, I quit.” You can see the video below (NSFW language).

The club aims to increase access to medical marijuana in Alaksa. Newspaper Alaska Dispatch News describes the club as operating within a “gray area” in the state’s medical marijuana laws. The state will vote on legalizing recreational marijuana use later this year.

KTVA-TV’s news director later apologized for the incident on the station’s Facebook page, adding that Greene no longer worked at the station.
