STRANGE. WOMAN Gives BIRTH To 11 Baby Boys At ONCE

An Indian Woman gave birth to eleven 11 kids baby boys few days ago. Resources have been told that few of them were test tubes babies but it really seems strange at once. It was also rumored that 6 were twins. Doctors were really surprised, shocked and glad to have successful delivery. Well it's a blessing of God who give 11 baby boys to one woman. 21st century record of 2012 year.

Origins: Wikipedia's list of multiple births records only two instances of nonuplets (nine children born at once to the same mother), none of whom survived more than a few days, so the news of a woman's giving birth to eleven healthy children at once (all of them boys) would be remarkable indeed.

The article referenced above, which claims an Indian woman delivered eleven living children at the same time, is not such news, however. It's a fabrication that was reported nowhere other than on a Zambian "news and entertainment" web site which used an out-of-context photograph from a hospital in Surat, India, taken while the staff there was celebrating the birth of eleven babies (to eleven different sets of parents) at that facility on the date of 11 November 2011 (i. e. 11/11/11).

As described by the Times of India . the couples involved had all conceived via in vitro fertilization with an eye towards giving birth on that particular date:

A city-based In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) centre will undertake operations on 11 would-be mothers to schedule the births of their babies on Friday, 11-11-11.

About 30 women had conceived through IVF nine months ago at the 21st Century Hospital in the city. Of them, 11 couples wanted the delivery of their babies on the special date.

The operations will be performed by Dr Purnima Nadkarni and Dr Pooja Nadkarni and their team of doctors at the hospital from 6 am. All the 11 women who conceived through IVF have waited a long time for this moment.

A graphic circulating online allegedly shows a set of 11 babies born to the same mother. Is this real or fake?

The photo itself is real, and does shows 11 babies born on the same day – but they were born to 11 different mothers.

Let’s take a look at the claim circulating online:

The photo can be traced back to an article by The Times of India entited, “11 IVF babies to be delivered on 11-11-11 in city ” from 2011. The articles stated:

The operations will be performed by Dr Purnima Nadkarni and Dr Pooja Nadkarni and their team of doctors at the hospital from 6 am. All the 11 women who conceived through IVF have waited a long time for this moment. The eldest woman is 43-year-old, who insisted that she wanted to deliver her baby on the special date.

Dr Pooja told TOI, “We started preparing for the operations on Friday. It is going to be a hectic day for us as we have not performed these many operations in a single day.”

She said the 11 angels, who will arrive in this world on Friday, will give hope to innumerable couples in the diamond city and across the country that infertility is not an incurable problem.

Multiple Births

There have been no recorded cases of 11 babies born at once to the same mother. The highest multiple births recorded is nine. There have been two reported cases of nine multiple births, and in both cases all of the babies died soon after birth.

The “11 Babies” story began circulating in increasing numbers in early November 2014. It is possible that this was due to two real news stories relating to “11 babies” at that time.

A November 4, 2014 news item reported the rescue of 11 trafficked babies in China. along with 32 adult arrested for trafficking. A day earlier, CBS News reported the death of 11 babies at a Dominican Republic hospital .

The timing of the resurgence of the graphic above with false back-story coincides with these two news items, both of which use the phrase “11 babies” in their headlines.

Bottom Line

The photo allegedly showing a record 11 babies born to one mother is false. It merely depicts 11 babies born at the same hospital on the same day.

Two unrelated news stories about “11 babies” in early November 2014 may have sparked the resurgence of this mislabeled graphic.

wow I would not call this a mirical at ALL, do you guys know the expences of having 4 kids far less for 11 of them, they are both gonna have to work there asses off night and day just to put food on the table and even harder to keep the roof over there head, I would call this a curse, if they were triplets fine good for them but this is waaaay to many kids for an indian family should have

Its one among the miracles of Allah to show us that nothing is imposible but to Allah its IM + POSSIBLE and not IMPOSSIBLE. ALLAH can do whatever HE wishes to do..

this has to be some joke really god would want a person to have 11 babies all at one time and if not a joke this is just so wrong when their people cant even have children

this is definitately not a cure it’s a miracle a wonderful blessing and thanks be to God for his blessings so what if they can’t provide for them like they might want to God gave them to that man and woman He will make a way out of no way He is a Miracle worker and just how they had faith for God to bring her safely through this pregnancy i know they will have increasing faith in Him to provide for thier kids

hypocrites calling this blessing a curse some people just need to start putting all thier faith in God and not man. looked in to this story it is NOT REAL, first of all there is no way a women is able to carry 11 babies and they all live and are heathy, second the only records of only anyone having alot of babies is the women in Califorinia who had 8 babies three years ago, they are the only milti group of children over 6, so this is a unreal story and any one who believes this story is a fool, the people who did this story should be ashamed of theirselves 4 making up a story like this

Okay so I was reading another article that read “indian woman gives birth to 11 baby boys a couple days ago” this was posted on Febuary 6. If this was the case why is it this article is saying that she gave birth on 11/11/11. The pictures are the same in both articles and so I am asking who is really falling for this crap??

Beth, is a phoney story, there is no possiable way a women can carry and have that many heathy babies at one time, I have looked up on milti births and the highest births at one time is 9 babies, that happened like 3 times and none of those babies lived, infact and this is sad, but one mom who give birth to 9 babies all the babies were still born, so there is no way this true is a phoney story, people need to realize this

This is a false story! All 11 babies were indeed born on Nov. 11, 2011, but there were 11 different mothers! Don’t believe all the hype reported on the web…
