Woman 4 days after giving birth

It depends very much on whether or not the mother is breastfeeding. Nature has a kind of regulating system to prevent a woman from becoming pregnant again too quickly, as pregnancy and birth are very stressful on the body, and another baby too soon would threaten the lives of both the mother and child. It will take anything from a couple of days to three weeks for the mother to stop bleeding after giving birth.

If a woman is breastfeeding, she releases a hormone that prevents both ovulation and menstruation (periods). Depending on the condition of the mother and her levels of nutrition and general health, this effect can last for months. The act of breastfeeding causes the womb to contract, and the woman's body can recover more quickly from the birth. (snapping back). Breast milk is full of essential nutrients not found in formula milk and the mother passes on her immunity to disease through her breast milk.

If a woman is not breastfeeding, her periods will come back sooner and she could ovulate without having a period. It is therefore essential that if she is going to have sex, she must have protection to prevent another pregnancy too soon.

It will take some time (about 6 weeks) for the body to return to normal, although some take longer and others don't, it all depends on how the individual feels. No woman should be pressurised into having sex before she feels ready for it, and some couples wait until the six week check-up before attempting it. It's always a matter of choice between the couple and what they are comfortable with.

Woman suffers heart attack days after giving birth

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Anabel Navarro was focused on her baby boy who was born with a heart defect that was diagnosed during pregnancy. At age 39, Anabel never imagined that she could have heart trouble, too. Sudden, life-threatening trouble.

“I just woke up at like two o’clock in the morning with a heavy chest. I thought I was just tired, but I can’t shake it off after like five minutes. I decide to wake up my husband,” recalled Navarro.

Just eleven days after giving birth to her son, Jag, Navarro was having a heart attack.

“My arm was getting number, my jaw was getting numb and then you’re thinking heart attack,” Navarro said. “But I’m saying I’m young. I don’t have the risk factors.”

But the lead medical technologist at Overland Park Regional Medical Center also knew she needed medical help. Her husband called 911. Navarro says paramedics who arrived apparently didn’t think it could be a heart attack.

“I was telling them it hurts. It feels like a heart attack. Why don’t you just bring me to the hospital? But they kept repeating and repeating the EKG,” said Navarro.

When she arrived at Overland Park Regional, she had an emergency procedure to clear a blockage in her heart that was causing the heart attack. It was no ordinary heart attack. The lining of the artery wall had separated — dissected — from the artery. The flap that was created was blocking blood flow. It’s something that happens, though rarely, during pregnancy or after giving birth for reasons that are unclear.

Navarro’s message to other women: Listen to your body. Don’t think it can’t be a heart attack.

“If you feel something’s not well, just go to the hospital or call 911. What wrong can you do? You can be wrong, but at least you’ll be alive,” she said.

A husband has his wife, and three children have their mom.

It’s been two years since Navarro’s heart attack. She did lose some heart muscle, and says she still has some spasms, but all in all, her life is good. Her baby had surgery for his heart defect and is now a toddler doing well.

Navarro is sharing her story through the American Heart Association’s “Real Women. Real Stories” campaign during American Heart Month. For the symptoms of heart attack in women, CLICK HERE .

This is actually unfathomable. Fitness blogger, football wife and new mom, Caroline Berg Eriksen, has sent the internet into a frenzy after posting a selfie.

Not just any selfie though – a lingerie selfie that shows off her near-flawless body, just four days after giving birth.

Eriksen, a 26 year-old, is the wife of Norwegian Premier League player Lars-Kristian Eriksen and the woman behind the biggest fitness blog in Norway, Fotball Frue. Mere days after leaving the hospital, she posted this photo with the caption: “I feel so empty, and still not… 4 days after birth.”

Which prompted some moms to get a bit, shall we say, spiteful.

Concerned mommy-blogger, Rebecca Sparrow wrote:

This whole situation has become ludicrous. The competition for women to give birth and then immediately remove any trace from their bodies that they ever carried a child is OBSCENE. There is no other word for it. Actually, it’s more than obscene – this ‘Look how hot I still am!’ obsession and need for public endorsement.

The rest of the world, needless to say, approves heartily.

Asalamualaykum,

I wanted to know about what happens to a woman once she has given birth; I know she can bleed to a maximum of 40 days.

Salaam Mrs Yousuf G,

What happens for the next 40 miliseconds or lesser than that is not in our knowledge or control, how can we know what can happen to us in next 40 days?

As far as post delivery phase is concerned and its mental and physical aspects from medical point of view are concerned you should get in touch with a good gynaecologist.

As far as opening and closing of grave are concerned, NO, only Allah knows which grave will be dug when and for whom.

Subhaan Allah. Mrs Yousuf G, this ayaat which I quote fits exactly your question and encompasses both question of pregnancy and death side by side as if it was meant for this question, Subhaan Allah.

Allah reveals in Surah 31, Luqmaan, Ayat 34:

????? ??????? ??????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????? ????????? ?????????? ??? ??? ???????????? ????? ??????? ?????? ??????? ???????? ????? ????? ??????? ?????? ??????? ?????? ??????? ????? ??????? ??????? ???????

Inna Allaha AAindahu AAilmu alssaAAatiwayunazzilu alghaytha wayaAAlamu ma fee al-arhamiwama tadree nafsun matha taksibu ghadan wamatadree nafsun bi-ayyi ardin tamootu inna AllahaAAaleemun khabeer

34. Verily Allah! With Him is knowledge of The Hour. He sendeth down the rain, and knoweth that which is in the wombs. No nafs knoweth what it will earn tomorrow, and no nafs knoweth in what land it will die. Allah is Knower, Aware .

I hope this helps subside the curiosity on the grave part of your question.

Salaam,

Munib.

Wa alaikum assalaam,

What happens? Nothing.

What is supposed to happen to her? She is in post natal bleeding, excused (actually forbidden) from doing Salah, until she is clean and other than that, islamically we have not been given any more information on what else is happening.

A word of advice for you sister, whenever someone tells you something regarding the Deen, see if it truly links back to Allah, Rasooallah, the Sahaba or at least the fatwa of a credible scholar. A lot of strange and unreal stories are narrated and many of them are beleived without people even confirming if indeed it is authentic.
